A Happy Re-Union

During our college days bench 2 in our class was well known as a studious bunch. Our final results did prove that as well. 3 out of the 5 ended as University Rank Holders. We managed to have a get together for the first time in six years this time when I was aroung in India. First on the left is Ganesan. He was 2nd in the University. He went on do his Masters in IIT Madras and worked as a scientist for Indian Defence and now works for General Motors. The next guy is Himanshu sweetly called as Manshu. He went on do his masters in business and is now a big shot in Investment Banking. Of course the one in the middle is me. I ended up next to Ganesan in our class and was a university rank holder as well. Next to me is Hari well known to his friends as 'Gear' Hari. He eats 'Gear', drinks 'Gear', Sleeps 'Gear'. Is a big shot in a US based company now. The last is Gangadharan. When we completed our Engineering none of us realized the potential in him. A casual comment turned him serious and he started reading and he never looked back. He did his Masters in IIT Madras and currently a research scholar in the prestigious Indian Institute of Science. I am privileged to have spent 4 years in the same bench with these great guys.
